Romagna Emilia-Romagna
consists of two distinct sectors which coincide, more or less, at
the capital of Bologna. Emilia, on the western side, includes
such prosperous towns as Modena, Reggio, Parma, Fidenza, Fiorenzuola
and Piacenza. To the east of Bologna lies Romagna, with the
towns of Faenza, Forli, Cesena, Ferrara, Ravenna and Rimini.
The wines of this region might be considered northern Italy's most
eccentric wines - different of the whole from their neighbors', and
always refreshingly individualistic. |
